Join us Wednesday, December 3rd for the 3rd & Final Round of the 2014 Katra Film Series. A panel of judges will select 2 shorts to move on to the Grand Finale in January and the Audience will vote for one film to move on as well. A $500+ prize courtesy of our generous sponsors PULP NYC, Filmmaker Magazine, Pond5, Katra, CM4A will be shared amongst the 3 winners.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Dare2B, an organization focused on educating and empowering homeless children through out NYC. To find out more visit their website at dare2b.org.

Launched in the Summer of 2012, Katra Film Series screens a selection of quality short films by emerging and award-winning filmmakers in NYC and provides a great networking platform for industry professionals. In partnership with Everyone Matters and Rhino Films the 2014 Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Producer Stephen Nemeth from the Academy-Award Nominated The Sessions and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
