Grand Finale Lineup:

Floating Sunflowers – directed by Francisco Solorzano
The story of June (Anna Chlumsky), a still-life painter, whose creative spirit has been handcuffed by the recent loss of her father. At the end of her rope, with seemingly no place left to turn for inspiration, she casts her recent imperfect paintings onto the curb like common trash.

Mother’s Day – directed by Jeff Tan
Tragedy forces a mother (Melissa Leo) and son to say goodbye forever.

Tom In America – directed by Flavio Alves
For 50 years, Michael (Burt Young) and Betty (Sally Kirkland) have been united by one guiding principle: no secrets. But when a provocative Tom of Finland doll triggers Michael’s long-buried desires, Betty discovers that secrets have been part of their life all along.

The Texture of the Light – directed by Arilyn Martinez Cora
A single mother is forced to revisit her past when she desperately needs the stem cells of her ex-boyfriend, Javier, to help improve her son’s eyesight.

Fish – directed by Andrew Ruiz
A young boy puts his father in a difficult position when he tries to smuggle his pet Betta fish past airport security.

We Just Met – directed by Muneeb Hassan
Set in New York City, the story captures what it means to surrender to love through the metaphor of a foreigner thrust into a totally unfamiliar, unforgiving, and quintessentially American urban environment, where he is forced to adapt.

Take 5 – directed by Jasmine L. Callis
A college film crew documents high-school basketball star, Marcus Fulton Jr. during his last year at Englewood High. Under the direction of an ambitious filmmaker, who intends to make the best documentary of all-time, the project is led to invade the subject’s personal life, revealing a secret that may jeopardize the star-athlete’s successful basketball career.

Missing Grandma – directed by Adel Morales
A 60-year-old grandmother, Mita, who doesn’t hesitate to throw a slipper at you, is in the early stages of dementia, as she tries to impress upon her 16-year-old granddaughter, Tammi, the need to act like a lady.

Winter’s Hold – directed by Ian Voglesong
A young farmer in self imposed isolation must come to grips with a personal tragedy or be consumed by it.

Q’s One Night Stands – directed by Terrence Moore
Drenched in sexual energy, New York offers the most important factor to a one night stand – anonymity. But beware…Quinton may look like he’s living a life most men dream about, but one never knows what lurks behind a woman’s bedroom door.

Total Animal III – directed by Guerlotte Tristan
An experimental audiovisual creation, digitally enhanced and musically intense. The space is timeless, dark, misshapen and translucid. Submerged beings plasticized with sensual vibrations are breaking under destructive sounds. These creatures clot together in their oleaginous universe all the way to total annihilation.

One Night In Hollywood – directed by Sheri Sussman
A writer and an actor find the perfect investor for their Indie film, who only has one request – they kill a studio executive that has crossed him and he’ll finance their film and they can have their coveted ‘complete creative control’. That’s a no-brainer! Now if they can only agree on an ending for their script!
