Join Us for Our Milestone 5th Annual Grand Finale Event at the new Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas in Downtown Brooklyn! The Top 14 Finalists of the year compete for over 5K in prizes.
In partnership with Everyone Matters and Rhino Films, the 2016 Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Producer Stephen Nemeth from the Academy-Award nominated The Sessions and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, along with prizes from RED Digital Cinema Camera, Pond5, MovieMaker Magazine, Museum of the Moving Image, CreatorUp, and more!
In 2016, out of a total of 119 shorts that were officially selected, 76 of them were made by a Female Writer, Director, or Producer. We also had 24 international selections including works from Russia, France, Switzerland, UK, Israel, Greece, Italy, India, Mexico, Spain, Cuba, Argentina, Liberia and more!
