The story: Nic (Thomas Wesson), a young photographer, is still in a daze over the death of his girlfriend, Jamie (Dasha Kittredge), when he takes up an unexpected, sexually charged relationship with Ingrid (Audrey Lorea), a girl he barely knows and is addicted to Ecstasy. A dramatic character study of people who tend to party too much, lose themselves in sex, and can’t move on from past mistakes.

Juan Caceres:
Juan is an independent film producer whose latest credit is Elliot Loves, an award winning feature film. Juan’s greatest pride is being a founding member and Director of Programming for the HBO New York International Latino International Film Festival. He is also a programming associate for Tribeca All Access, an initiative of the Tribeca Film Festival that aids and supports underserved minorities in the film industry. He has recently started subjecting his filmmaker friends to his craziness in his blog, LatinoBuzz on IndieWire. Juan currently lives in an Empire State of Mind.

Robbie Bryan:
In 1997, Robbie Bryan formed his own film company, GOOD TO BE SEEN FILMS, with partner Christie Botelho. The company soon after completed its first feature, THE STAND-IN, which Bryan wrote, produced and starred in, along with Judith Ivey, David Ogden Stiers, Lou Myers and Kelly Ripa Co-Host of Live! With Regis and Kelly. The film premiered at The San Diego International Black Film Festival co-chaired by FOX Studios exec. Roland McFarland, and was released on DVD in retail stores by Ventura Distribution and IndieDVD. In 2006, he was hired to Co-Produce the feature film, Man From Earth, starring Tony Todd, William Katt, John Billingsley and Alexis Thorpe. The film was one of six films nominated for a 2007 Saturn Award, for Best Sci-Fi DVD release of the year and was released on home video globally by Anchor Bay.

In 2008, Robbie made his directorial debut on the feature iMurders, which stars William Forsythe, Gabrielle Anwar, Tony Todd, Billy Dee Williams, Charles Durning and Margaret Colin, which he co- wrote. The suspense/thriller/horror film was released through Anchor Bay/Starz in October of 2009 and distributed in 13 countries. In addition, he was honored to Co-Produce the Gilda’s Club sponsored, The Grief Project, a short film designed to help those dealing with the loss of a loved one through terminal illness.

2010 saw Bryan tackling cancer with his provocative “Choose”, a short film starring Deborah Twiss (Kickass) and Carter Roy, which played at the Academy Award Qualifying Festival LA Shortsfest and prestigious Oldenburg Festival, and screened for charities all around the U.S. to raise money and awareness.

Bryan has three projects on tap for GTBS Films in 2013, including the family-friendly The Mighty Misfit Kids, from his World Fest Houston Silver Remi-Winning screenplay, an as yet untitled Paranormal war-themed horror film being shot on the USS Alabama and the anime/manga-themed “Black Hat”, starring Jodelle Ferland (Twilight, Silent Hill), which while mostly narrative, will include ten minutes of anime from world renowned Japanese Producer Masao Maruyama.

Fernando Cuestas:
A native of New York City, Fernando Cuestas began working as an illustrator for comic books at the age of 15.
After attending Film School at SVA he began working as a Photographer and Videographer for Disney TV, Buick, Lincoln Center Film Society, Time Warner, Conde Nast China and GQ Taiwan. Recently Fernando has begun to write and direct his own short films, ‘Shoe Shine Chicken’ (which won several awards this year in festivals around the country), and most recently ‘Visiting Hour’, (which was awarded best film at the New York Katra Film Series July 2013).
In the coming year Fernando will be focusing his talents on directing narrative shorts and feature films, which no doubt will yield more compelling and intriguing films to enjoy.

Geoffrey Guerrero:
Born and Bred in NYC, Geoffrey Guerrero has written, directed, and produced several award-winning films. He was selected as a finalist for the 2006 Film Your Issue National Film Competition where then Senator Obama served as an honorary jury member. He was subsequently featured in EL DIARIO/LA PRENSA, America’s Spanish-leading newspaper, for highlighting an issue that’s been perennially overlooked by the mainstream media. In 2007 he co-directed a short film called “Rewind” and won the Best Short Film “On The Edge” Award at the 2007 HBO New York International Latino Film Festival. His original short film “The New McCarthyism,” which he wrote, directed, and produced was an Official Selection at the 2007 Long Island Latino International Film Festival. In 2008, his film “Baile (Dance)” won the Best Short Film “Fruit of the Vine” award at the Vine Shorts Film Festival in Santa Monica, CA and also screened at the 2009 HBO New York International Latino Film Festival and 2009 Babelgum Online International Film Festival as an Official Selection.

Guerrero launched the Katra Film Series in the Summer of 2012 which has grown into one of the most premier short film showcases in NYC. In partnership with Everyone Matters, a global media campaign to reduce intolerance, the Best Short Film Winner of 2012 was awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Producer Stephen Nemeth from the Academy-Award Nominated The Sessions (starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt, William H. Macy, and Moon Bloodgood). Other Producer credits include Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (starring Johnny Depp and directed by Terry Gilliam), Why Do Fools Fall in Love (starring Halle Berry), and Dogtown and Z Boys, among many others. The Los Angeles Katra Film Series launches on July 31st in the Falls in downtown LA.

Guerrero is currently in development on his debut feature film and hopes to be rolling by the end of the year.
