Please join us February 8th for the Official Launch of the 2014 Katra Film Series in the Lower East Side of NYC.
The audience will vote for one film to move on to the 2nd round competition in July where prizes will be handed out to several filmmakers.
Launched in the Summer of 2012, Katra Film Series screens a selection of quality short films by emerging filmmakers living, studying or working in NYC, and provides a great networking platform for industry professionals.
In partnership with Everyone Matters and Rhino Films the 2014 Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Producer Stephen Nemeth from the Academy-Award Nominated The Sessions and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

We’re looking for quality short films no longer than 15 minutes in length. We’ll make exceptions if the film is really good. Music Videos, short docs, visual art, experimental, animations are welcome!
