Seed&Spark and Tugg are combining forces to invest in the future of independent film by offering a comprehensive Crowdfunding to Build Independence workshop. OUR HOST:
Katra Film Series spotlights new talent and provides a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work in front of a live audience and to network with likeminded industry professionals. Every month we screen a selection of quality short films and the audience votes for one film to move on to the 2nd and 3rd Competitions. Regardless of who the audience chooses, all films will be considered for the Year-End Grand Finale Event where the top films will vie for prizes worth over 1K and the chance to meet with a Major Hollywood Producer.
In partnership with Everyone Matters & Rhino Films, the 2014 Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a one-on-one meeting with acclaimed Producer Stephen Nemeth from the Academy-Award Nominated The Sessions and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
In Partnership with Seed&Spark, the 2014 Grand Finale Audience Choice Award will take home a prize worth over $500, a membership to the Museum of the Moving Image.
