Length: 22:23

Codependent is a comedy web series that follows Deena, Sarah, and Percia, three millennial women of color living in Philadelphia, trying to navigate life. Sarah and Percia are in college, Deena in grad school, and these three episodes show them dealing with microaggressions, men, and the prospect of having a tail. Although Codependent is a show about three women of color, the plot itself is not explicitly about race, ethnicity, or racial trauma. In this way, the series pushes against the default of whiteness that is so prevalent in film and television.
